Gold Run Project
Snapshot
Snapshot
- Size: 516 hectares
- Location: Nevada, United States
- Target: Epithermal-style gold mineralization, potential for Carlin-type mineralization, and potential for skarn or porphyry-style systems
- Development Stage: Brownfield early-stage exploration
Location and Access
The Gold Run Property comprises 75 unpatented mining claims totaling approximately 516 hectares. It is strategically located within one of Nevada’s most prospective gold districts and benefits from a long heritage of mining and well-established infrastructure.
Summary
The Property is located in Humboldt County, Nevada, within the prolific Getchell Gold Trend and near its intersection with the Battle Mountain–Eureka Trend. This historically productive area has seen extensive exploration activity dating back to the 1860s and is well-positioned for the discovery of significant epithermal and Carlin-style mineralization. The Gold Run Property sits within a proven lower-plate gold corridor, between the Twin Creeks and Turquoise Ridge deposits—both multi-million-ounce producers operated by Nevada Gold Mines (Barrick/Newmont JV). This proximity to tier-one gold assets underlines the district-scale potential of Gold Run. Key highlights include:
• Low-cost entry with substantial upside and a defined technical roadmap
• Historic drill discoveries with significant gold intercepts—both priority drill targets
• Historic non-compliant gold resource (up to ~100,000 oz at Robber’s Knob)
• Shallow, high-grade & bulk tonnage near-term drill targets, offering a clear path to resource growth
Geology and Targeting
The Gold Run Property has a rich exploration history, with 15 different operators having completed 131 drill holes (totaling 17,823 metres / 58,476 feet) since the 1960s. Additionally, 454 soil samples and 827 rock samples have been collected.
Notably, a 2008 diamond drilling program by Golden Predator Mining Corp. returned strong gold assay results, which have been reviewed and validated by the current operator using original assay certificates.
Highlights include:
- Hole GPA0041 – 120 ft. – 125 ft. @ 11.2 g/t Au, 20 g/t Ag.
- Hole GPA0111 – 180 ft. – 190 ft. @ 6.1 g/t Au, 12 g/t Ag.
- Hole GPA0272 – 80 ft.-110 ft @ 27.41 g/t, 83 g/t Ag, including 80 ft. – 95 ft. @53.31 g/t Au, 143 g/t Ag.
Lodestar's exploration efforts at Gold Run will focus on identifying epithermal-style gold mineralization, with additional potential for Carlin-type mineralization due to the property's strategic location within the Getchell–Battle Mountain–Eureka trend. There is also potential for skarn or porphyry-style systems associated with nearby intrusive bodies.
Exploration Upside
The Gold Run Property provides a compelling exploration and growth opportunity aligning with our focus on acquiring and advancing high-impact projects in North America. Its favorable location, demonstrated mineralization, and significant historical work make it a cornerstone asset as we develop our strategy in Nevada.
We plan to invest efficiently—using RC drilling to reduce costs and generate faster results. Our structure remains flexible, with no burdensome work commitments or cash payments.
• Phase 1: Geophysics, soils, and mapping to refine drill targets
• Phase 2: Offset drilling on known zones to rapidly build a compliant resource
• Phase 3: Expand targets and test deeper potential in a Carlin-style system
Lodestar’s approach emphasizes technical rigor, fiscal discipline, and long-term value creation:
Systematic. Strategic. Shareholder-Focused.
